We invite you to join us at Augusta Bay for an unforgettable and relaxing
vacation at the most beautiful of setting on the famed Garden Route in South
Africa.
Augusta Bay is surrounded by a cobalt sea swirling between towering monoliths of
rock, a sparkling estuarine lagoon, lush indigenous forests and one perfect
fairway after another. These are just some of the elements which make the
Augusta Bay experience as unique as it is magnificent.
Our business is hospitality and we take this to a new level of excellence at our
unique and beautiful guest house nestled against the Eastern Head of the Knysna
lagoon. Nine beautifully appointed suites all fully air conditioned, offer our
discerning guests a luxurious way to enjoy the natural beauty of their
surroundings.
Augusta Bay
has everything you need to enjoy a great golfing getaway or just a plain
old-fashioned relaxing holiday. Guests have a choice of 8 luxuriously appointed,
tastefully furnished suites with spectacular views.
All suites have en-suite bathrooms, some with spa baths, all with rain head
showers and under floor heating. The suites have satellite televisions,
mini-bars, tea/coffee making facilities, safes, ceiling fans, with three of the
suites having air-conditioning. The beds are of the finest quality with down
feather pillows and comforters. Guest’s comfort and relaxation is our priority.
Reservations
Rates quoted are current and include 14% VAT, these may be subject to change
without notice, however current reservations will not be affected. Breakfast is
included. Additional meals are extra. Rates are quoted in South African Rands.
A 50% deposit of the entire stay is required to confirm a reservation within 7
days, upon which we will issue a Confirmation of Reservation. Full payment for
accommodation is due from the client no later than 30 days prior to the arrival
date, extras to be settled on departure. We reserve the right to automatically
cancel a reservation, which is not confirmed, this will be done in writing. All
cancellations must be in writing via fax or email. Method of payment is given in
detail on Pro Forma Invoice and include credit card or wire transfer. Augusta
Bay has one family suite St. Andrews, suitable for a family of four, comprising
two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the
second bedroom has a queen size bed. Rates for children are based on age, 12 and
over are full rate. It should be noted that Augusta Bay is not child friendly in
that it has different levels, accessed by stairs and we do not have gardens.
Cancellations
"No Shows" or cancellations less than 7 days will result in the full value
(100%) of the stay being charged. Less than 30 days will result in a 50%
payment, of the stay. 25% of the stay with less than 60 days will be charged.
Reservations made and cancelled will result in a 10% service handling fee being
held from any refunds due.
